The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6005-A1IX or CS8SU6005A1IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO covering a wide range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions. The unit offers S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" plus DIN 5462 direct mount pump flanges that rotate for maximum clearance during installation. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft-speed monitoring.
