The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A1IX or CS8SU6809A1IX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO from the CS8 Series, designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. It accepts S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pumps, with rotatable flanges that let you position the pump for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types, supporting versatile pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the "OFF" position. An optional pulse generator can interface with a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
