The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A3TX or CS8SU6809A3TX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear combinations, covering a wide range of popular automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types to suit varied pump drive installations. Direct mount pump flanges conform to S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 standards, and those flanges rotate to maximize clearance in tight installations. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator connects to a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
