The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E1PW or CS8SU6809E1PW is a CS8 Series power take-off with an 8-bolt clutch shift configuration. It accommodates 19 transmission input gears, making it compatible with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options cover S.A.E. "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 flanges, and the rotatable direct mount flanges allow repositioning the pump for maximum clearance in the chassis. A patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations.
