The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6809-A3ZX or CS8SU6809A3ZX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types, giving flexibility for remote pump drive installations. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" standards as well as DIN 5462, and the rotatable flange design lets you position the pump for maximum clearance in tight installations. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator is available to allow a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
