The Chelsea 272RDKUP-B3XD or 272RDKUPB3XD is a 272 Series medium-duty hot-shift power take-off with 6-bolt mounting and pneumatic or hydraulic (PowerShift) engagement. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key and is suited for direct-mount pump or driveshaft configurations. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW), with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines and is applied across towing and recovery, aerial, construction equipment, and water truck applications.
