The Chelsea 272RDKUP-B3XR or 272RDKUPB3XR is a 272 Series hot-shift power take-off built on a 6-bolt mount. It delivers continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and handles intermittent loads in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into one platform, covering aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications.
