The Chelsea 272XGAJX-A5XD or 272XGAJXA5XD is a 6-bolt, hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 272 Series, designed for medium-duty mobile equipment applications including aerial work, towing and recovery, construction, and water trucks. It operates with either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Intermittent torque capacity runs 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), and rated output power reaches 56+ HP (41-50 kW).
