The Chelsea 272XGAJX-P3XD or 272XGAJXP3XD is a 6-bolt, hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 272 Series, a medium-duty PTO platform that consolidates earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series units into a single, more capable design. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key, and shift is pneumatic or hydraulic (PowerShift) via an integral air control valve. The 272 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, RAM, and select others.
