The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489GFAHX-A5GF or 489GFAHXA5GF is a mechanical shift PTO designed for 8-bolt manual transmission openings, fitting most Eaton Fuller, Mack, Tremec, and Eaton Endurant transmissions without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt aperture, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak path. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft. The 489 Series shares internal parts with the Chelsea 442 Series and uses tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift is wire/cable mechanical.
