The Chelsea 272KKJKX-15BD or 272KKJKX15BD is a 6-bolt hot shift Power Take-Off Assembly from Chelsea's 272 Series. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier medium-duty hot shift PTO lines into a single, versatile platform rated for up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and 56-plus horsepower output. Shift options include pneumatic (air) or hydraulic, with an integral air control valve included. The series supports nine speed ratios, 18 shift configurations, and offers both direct-mount and driveshaft output options. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Smart-Start capability is also available for high-torque start-up conditions. Common applications include aerial, construction equipment, towing and recovery, and water trucks.
