The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272MBAJP-D3XR or 272MBAJPD3XR, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty work across towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is handled pneumatically or via PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. Continuous torque is rated up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque falls in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW).
