The Chelsea 272XCAJX-P3RK or 272XCAJXP3RK is a 272 Series 6-bolt hot-shift power take-off assembly. It features a pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift mechanism and a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power is rated at 56+ HP (41-50 kW); shaft power at 1,000 RPM delivers 57 HP (43 kW). The 272 Series consolidates multiple prior Chelsea medium-duty PTO families and is used in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications.
