The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XKAJX-P3XD or 272XKAJXP3XD, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built around the 272 Series platform. It features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic (air) shift and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) operation. The 272 Series carries a continuous torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent torque rating in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Output power reaches 56+ HP (41-50 kW), with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. This PTO comes with an integral air control valve and rotatable flanges.
