The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GDFJP-E5RY or 281GDFJPE5RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. As an evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an 80% thicker clutch pack steel disc stack to resist premature tooth wear, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibration damage. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed demands. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 flanges, and driveline configurations.
