281GGFJW-D5RY Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GGFJW-D5RY or 281GGFJWD5RY is a 281 Series hydraulic PowerShift (hot shift) power take-off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, adding a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Output options within the series include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO and DIN flanges, and driveline configurations. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and the SmartStart feature are available to protect driven equipment and reduce start-up shock load.
