281GGKVP-B5RK Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off 281GGKVP-B5RK or 281GGKVPB5RK is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. An evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and a clutch pack with steel discs 80% thicker than the previous design. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed demands. The wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
