281GTFJP-B5RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GTFJP-B5RF or 281GTFJPB5RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. An evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 brings a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and 80% thicker steel discs in the clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed applications. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652, and driveline configurations. The continuous duty torque rating for this series is 390 lb-ft. Commonly specified for fire and rescue, refuse, truck crane, and pumper-cleaner applications.
