The Chelsea 489GHAHX-V3GK or 489GHAHXV3GK is a 489 Series Power Take-Off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting opening. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating that extra leak path. The 489 Series delivers the same intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series - 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) - while featuring tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. This unit uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and carries a 1-1/4" round output shaft with key. Output power ranges from 46 to 55 HP (31-40 kW), with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM.
