The Chelsea 489XHITX-A3GF or 489XHITXA3GF is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off Assembly from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed to mount directly to manual transmissions with an 8-bolt aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec units. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, reducing potential leak paths compared to multi-piece designs. Shift is wire/cable mechanical, and the output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with key. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 250 lb-ft (339 Nm); shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. Internal parts are common with the Chelsea 442 Series.
