The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XAFJP-M3RS or 878XAFJPM3RS, is a constant mesh PTO built to mount on Allison 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load and reduced vibrational damage. Rotatable cast-iron flanges minimize interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive stop that eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times compared to dry configurations.
