The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878XFFJP-M5RS or 878XFFJPM5RS, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% increase in steel disc thickness within the clutch pack. The series carries a 670 lb-ft continuous duty torque rating. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. The hose is included.
