The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6809-E1CX or CS8BU6809E1CX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO built for use with Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions and a wide range of manual transmissions. It supports SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump configurations, with rotatable flanges for positioning clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
