The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8D-S6812-E1IX or CS8DS6812E1IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. The unit offers SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump flanges that rotate for maximum pump clearance. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types, covering a wide range of pump drive setups. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
