The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8D-S6812-E1PD or CS8DS6812E1PD, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump options cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" flanges as well as DIN 5462, with rotatable flanges so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for versatility with remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
