The Muncie CS8D-S6812-P1KX or CS8DS6812P1KX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. It covers a broad range of transmission applications, including the Allison 1000/2000 series and many popular manual transmissions. Direct mount pump flanges accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump pads, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive configurations. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation whenever the unit is in the off position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
