S Series Dump Pump Design 1 Torque and Service Notes

• Torque tie bolt nuts item 39 to 155 ft.lbs. (210 Nm); threads and washer side of nut should be oiled for proper torque.
• Torque relief valve item 31 to 110 ft.lbs.; pipe plug item 35 to 33-37 ft.lbs. (40-50 Nm).
• Torque bracket screws item 18 to 7 ft.lbs. (10 Nm), spool cover screws item 26 to 1.5 ft.lbs. (2 Nm), detent retainer item 30 to 10 ft.lbs. (13 Nm) and check valve item 36 to 18 ft.lbs. (25 Nm).
• Relief valve adjustable from 1,000 to 2,500 PSI; factory set at 2,000 PSI +/- 100 PSI.
• Gears are only sold in sets and cannot be serviced individually. Rear cover and valve spool are not sold as service parts.
• This sheet covers the single acting (SA) pump. The double acting version is not covered.
• Maximum vacuum is 5 in.Hg. Do not use Teflon tape on pipe thread ports.
