Muncie 82 Series PTO Units

The Muncie 82 Series is Muncie's 8-bolt PTO. Its transmission gears cover Eaton, Fuller, Mack, Spicer and Universal gear applications, and it takes a lever, double acting air, or constant mesh shifter.

82 Series features

• SAE 8-bolt mountings: standard, standard with a metric stud kit, and a roller bearing version.
• Shifters: lever, constant mesh, double acting dual cylinder air, and double acting 12 volt electric/air.
• Speed ratios from .47:1 to 1.89:1.
• Outputs include a 1410 companion flange, SAE B, BB and C pump flanges, DIN 5462, and a DIN companion flange.
• Options include pressure lube and a greaseable shaft.

Find your exact unit

Start with the full model number on your PTO. An 82 model number reads: 82, the mounting (8S is the SAE 8-bolt standard mount), the transmission gear designator, the speed ratio, then after the dash the shifter, assembly arrangement, output and special feature. For example, 828S-U6805-R1CX is an 8-bolt standard mount with the U68 gear, the 05 ratio, double acting dual cylinder air shift, assembly arrangement 1 and a 1410 companion flange.
