The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 PTO families into a single medium-duty platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output models include the Smart-Start feature for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation. Typical applications include aerial work, towing and recovery, construction equipment, and water trucks.
