The Chelsea 282XKDAX-P5XD or 282XKDAXP5XD is a medium-duty hot shift PTO assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, built for demanding continuous-duty applications. This unit mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission configurations. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key drive. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
