The Chelsea 878XBFJP-M5RY or 878XBFJPM5RY is a constant mesh Power Take-Off Assembly from the 878 Series, designed to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. Built around a cast iron housing with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, this PTO addresses the vibrational demands of modern engine designs through an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a positive-stop driveline output eliminates oil seal damage from coupling contact. The 878 Series offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high speed ranges. The Wet Spline Lubrication option delivers 7 to 10 times greater output shaft life. Hydraulic hose is included.
