The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XFFJP-M5RY or 878XFFJPM5RY, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and rotatable cast-iron flanges that reduce interference clearance issues. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. A Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times compared to standard lubrication.
