CS8B-U6809-A1IX Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off (PTO)

The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6809-A1IX or CS8BU6809A1IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO with both direct mount and remote mount output options. It accepts 19 transmission input gear combinations, covering most popular automatic transmissions including Allison 1000 and 2000 Series as well as common manual transmissions. Direct mount pump flanges are SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 compatible, and the flanges rotate to maximize clearance for the pump. Three remote mount output shaft styles -- keyed and flange types -- add flexibility for remote pump drive installations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator is available to let a System Protection Device monitor PTO shaft speed.
