The Chelsea 340XKITX-Y4XD or 340XKITXY4XD is a mechanical, lever-shift power take-off assembly built for medium- and heavy-duty truck applications. It mounts via a reversible 6-bolt pattern, making it adaptable to a range of transmission configurations from Eaton/Fuller, ZF, Volvo/Mack, Hino, GM, and other manufacturers. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft (keyed), rated up to 200 lb-ft (271 Nm) intermittent torque. Shaft power output is 19 HP at 500 RPM and 38 HP at 1,000 RPM. The cast iron housing encloses a ball bearing output and includes a removable cover plate for backlash adjustment in the field.
