The Muncie 8405A-07-P3KX (also shown as 8405A07P3KX) is an 8405 Series power take-off built with a ductile iron housing and an integral 8-bolt mounting pad. The speed ratio code "07" places this unit in the same performance class as the TG8S-U6807 PTO. Engagement is handled by an integral air shift. The output side accepts an SAE "B" or SAE "B-B" pump mounting flange in either 2- or 4-bolt configurations, with an optional 1-1/4" output shaft. An inspection port simplifies backlash adjustment in the field, and a drain port is included. Intermittent torque rating for the 07 ratio is 230 ft-lb (312 Nm) at 44 intermittent HP at 1,000 RPM; continuous torque is 161 ft-lb (218 Nm).
