The Eaton Detroit Truetrac differential 913A609 is a limited-slip (LSD) unit built for the Toyota 8 in. front beam axle. It uses a 30-spline side gear count and fits 3.91 and up ring gear ratios. This is the small-hub application, designed for the 45 mm bearing diameter setup, covering Toyota 4Runner and Pickup Mini front-axle builds from the 1979 and 1984 model years through 1985. The Truetrac design transfers torque smoothly between wheels without a clutch pack, making it suited to street and muscle, work truck and towing, drag racing, circle track, and off-road rock crawl, trail, and sand use.
