It integrates the master range valve assembly that controls range shifting through the air shift system, making it a functional component rather than a plain knob. This left hand configuration is intended for right hand steer trucks, not standard USA left hand steer applications. Cross references include FUL A7318, S-E651, ZBFA7318, and 3088-A7318.
