The Mack 20QE3335A-3766 is a shift knob and airline kit designed to service Mack transmissions equipped with 2, 3, or 4 air line shift knobs. The kit replaces the three 3/16" air lines that run between the slave valve on top of the transmission and the shift knob, along with all fittings on the slave valve. Push-in style fittings eliminate the need to thread and torque connections by hand, which reduces the risk of over-tightening - a known cause of synchronizer damage on these transmissions. The shift knob includes a red thumb button. Note that the fourth port in the knob is an exhaust port; it can be left open or vented below the cab floor using one of the included lines.
