The Chelsea 249XMLLX-E2AD or 249XMLLXE2AD is a hydraulic-shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 249 Series, designed specifically for the Ford 6R140 TorqShift 6 automatic transmission using a 6-bolt Ford mounting pattern. The 249 Series is the only PTO engineered with a patented noise-suppression system for this platform, addressing torsional noise that affects most comparable installations. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of up to 200 lb-ft (271 Nm) and delivers shaft power of 57 HP at 1488 RPM. Internal pressure lubrication (X-lube designation) supports continuous operation with a 30% de-rating. A single-hose connection combined with an integrated cartridge valve and pressure switch streamlines installation and reduces potential leak paths.
