The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XMAJX-V3XD or 282XMAJXV3XD, is a medium-duty hot shift PTO built on Chelsea's redesigned 282 platform. The 282 Series supports air or hydraulic (PowerShift) shift operation and mounts via an 8-bolt pattern. Intermittent torque capability spans 201 to 300 lb-ft (401 to 500 Nm), with shaft power output rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output shaft options within the 282 Series include a 1-1/4 in. round shaft with 5/16 in. key and a 1 in. round shaft with 1/4 in. key. Common applications for this series include fuel oil delivery, towing and recovery, aerial equipment, construction equipment, and water trucks.
