The Chelsea 282XDAJX-V5XD or 282XDAJXV5XD is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. The 8-bolt mounting configuration and 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key suit installations on Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission platforms. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve included. The 282 Series supports continuous torque to 300 lb-ft and delivers 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Smart Start and Wet-Spline options in the 282 Series make it a fit for aerial, towing and recovery, construction, and fuel oil delivery trucks.
