The Chelsea 823XBAKP-Y4XU or 823XBAKPY4XU is a heavy-duty Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 823 Series, engineered for high-torque applications including oil field equipment, logging, pumper cleaner trucks, and mining operations. It mounts via an 8-bolt PTO aperture and is compatible with Eaton/Fuller, Allison, and Volvo/Mack transmissions, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/2 inch 10-tooth spline with a 1410 series companion flange. Shift is mechanical lever. At 1,000 RPM, the 823 Series delivers 95 HP (71 kW); at 500 RPM, 48 HP (36 kW). Intermittent torque rating is 500 lb-ft (678 Nm); continuous operation is supported with a 30% de-rating.
