The Chelsea 823 Series Power Take-Off, part number 823XMAHX-Y5XV or 823XMAHXY5XV, is an extra heavy-duty PTO built for high-torque applications including oil field service, logging, and pumper/cleaner trucks. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits automatic and manual transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The lever/mechanical shift operates through a cast iron housing with tapered cone bearings on the output shaft for greater load-bearing capability. Output is through a 1410 Series companion flange on a 1-1/2 inch, 10-tooth spline. Intermittent torque is rated at 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) - check application pages for actual torque ratings for your installation. Shaft power reaches 95 HP (71 kW) at 1,000 RPM.
