The Muncie 8405A-09-A3BX (also referenced as 8405A09A3BX) is a Muncie 8405A Series power take-off built around a ductile iron housing with an integral 8-bolt mounting pad for a rigid, vibration-resistant installation. This unit carries a speed ratio designation of 09, delivering an intermittent torque rating of 205 ft-lb (278 Nm) and a continuous torque rating of 144 ft-lb (195 Nm) at 39 intermittent HP at 1,000 RPM. The housing includes an integral air shift, a drain port, and an inspection port for backlash adjustment. Pump mounting is via an SAE "B" or SAE "B-B" 2- or 4-bolt flange, with an optional 1-1/4" output shaft. This series covers three popular speed ratios equivalent to the TG8S-U6807, TG8S-U6808, and TG8S-U6809 PTOs. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
