The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off, part number 288GKFJP-M5RF or 288GKFJPM5RF, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the proven 281 Series platform. Wider gears and larger-capacity bearings support a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage from modern engine designs. The standard output shaft features a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications.
