The Chelsea 897REFJW-M5XV or 897REFJWM5XV is a constant-mesh power take-off assembly from the 897 Series, engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and uses a one-piece main shaft that positions the SAE C output flange at the rear of the transmission, tucking the gear housing tightly inboard to maximize clearance between the pump and the frame rail. The wet-spline output extends pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. Intermittent torque capacity exceeds 501 lb-ft; continuous-duty torque reaches up to 670 lb-ft (verify actual rating on the application pages). At 1,000 RPM the shaft delivers up to 128 HP.
