The Muncie CS40-A1012-J3CX or CS40A1012J3CX is a 10-bolt heavy-duty clutch shift power take-off from the CS40/41 Series, engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 series transmissions and Caterpillar CX transmissions. Precision ground gears deliver high torque capacity with quiet operation, while extra-large bearings extend service life under demanding duty cycles. The unit supports both SAE "C" and DIN 5462 direct mount flanges, fitting most pumps that require high power input. Rotatable direct mount flanges allow the pump to be positioned for maximum clearance. Two assembly arrangements let you mount the PTO shaft-high or shaft-low on either side of the transmission. Standard pressure lubrication is included at no additional cost. On fire pump applications, maximum output speed reaches 4,000 RPM. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
