The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878XEFJW-M5RZ or 878XEFJWM5RZ, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to fit Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% increase in steel disc thickness within the clutch pack. These upgrades specifically address vibrational damage from modern engine designs. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times over standard configurations. A hose is included.
