The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XGFJP-M5RZ or 878XGFJPM5RZ, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to fit Allison 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series builds on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibration damage, and 80% thicker steel discs in the clutch pack. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive stop to eliminate oil seal damage from coupling contact. The wet spline lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. A hydraulic hose is included. Sold by Pro Gear and Transmission. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
