The Muncie 8405A-08-A3BX or 8405A08A3BX is a speed ratio 08 unit in the 8405A Series power take-off line, built with a ductile iron housing for rigid structure in high-vibration environments. It mounts via an integral 8-bolt pad and accepts an SAE "B" or SAE "B-B" 2- or 4-bolt pump mounting flange with an optional 1-1/4" output shaft. The integral air shift makes engagement straightforward without external shifting hardware. A drain port and an inspection port for backlash adjustment are both included. At speed ratio 08, this unit carries an intermittent torque rating of 230 ft-lb (312 Nm) and a continuous torque rating of 161 ft-lb (218 Nm) at 44 intermittent HP at 1,000 RPM. It is dimensionally equivalent to the TG8S-U6807, TG8S-U6808, and TG8S-U6809 PTOs. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
